The name of the dash cam can be F70, i1000 or X6 but no one seems to be able to nail down a manufacturer. Device manager just sees it as USB Video device and error code 10 (device cannot start). It will see it as a USB storage device and it works fine when I have a MicroSD card installed.

I found some indication this device may work with Linux. Not sure about Windows 2. Does this cam also record data?
