The battery will not charge in the sweeper. I can remove the battery and wire it to the power supply for charging and it will charge up and run the sweeper. So the power supply and the battery are both good. Obviously there is a circuit failure in the on board charging control. Anyone know a fix or a likely faulty component? These battery's should last at least 5 Dave you are correct. You should never over-charge anything like a Roomba, Cel Phone, etc. That will kill a bettery very quickly.
